Yet another positive month from Arik and the Money Text service. I’ve been going with 5% compounding per trade and made 10% gain last month. Simple as it gets – get text, place trade, forget about trade.
Interestingly Arik has announced that he will be adding his 9pm signals free of charge to the service. Apparently he has been trading these since 2009 (full results here) and as you can see they’ve been very successful. Same scenario for the evening trades – get text, place trade, forget about trade.
This service has a 30 day free trial so its a bit of a no-brainer. If results continue as they have been historically we could be looking @ 10-30% growth a month for a couple of minutes work a day.

Another good month for Money Text with a 5% gain

Getting boring this – but in a good way. Another solid month with this service has produced another 5% gain. Ticks a lot of boxes for me in that its easy to use, quick and set & forget. If you’re using this service and compounding month on month then you’ll be doing very nicely.

Money Text finished the month on +5% so a solid start to the year and my confidence grows with this service. Been with them since May last year and been a consistently profitable service over that time. been a few losing months but nothing major and certainly well ahead for the period. Still offering the free months trial as well.

Money Text Review
Nice start to 2012 for the Money Text service – already 5% gain on the bank and basically continuing where they left off last year. Must admit to being a bit sceptical when i started reviewing this service as i’d tried quite a few signal services which either started well and trailed off or were just poor from the outset. Money Text has been consistently good with very low drawdown and good profits.
Long may it continue – highly recommended.

After a small loss of 3pts in November Money Text has come back strongly in December and currently stands at 37pts in profit. This represents a 5% gain in subscribers banks but is still disappinting as far as the operator of the service Arik is concerned.
I’m sure we’d all be happy with growth of 5% per month but Arik isnt and says he’s determined 2012 will get back to the 15% monthly growth average he’s provided previously.
The service couldnt be any simpler – receive trade details by text, place trade and forget about it. The only rare exception to that is if the trade hits the entry point but doesnt hit either the stop loss or profit target – you will then get another text instructing you to close the trade.
If this is the straightforward kind of Forex Signal Service you’re looking for then I do highly recommend Money Text – i’ve tried plenty over the past few years and this is by far & away the best.

Well it was always going to go that way after ‘highly recommending’ the service last month! Apologies if you joined last month and suffered the 9% loss this month but lonfer term members will still be well ahead with this service.
Fully expect this service to make a good profit again this month, especially if the markets behave a little more rationally in November. Dont think there were too many services (genuinely) making money in October and statistically best time to join good services is after a losing mnth.

Well another excellent month with Money Text – a gain of 117 pips for September which represents 16% growth on the month 2.65% compounding. If it’s not careful it’s going to turn into the signal service I’ve been looking for for years. That’s 3 good months on the run which is probably enough to remove even my jaded cynicism that the claimed previous results on the site are genuine.
So basically this service is a max of 1 text received around 9.15 every day (potentially 2 but hasn’t been yet) which gives you the entry level, profit target , stop loss & time limit & that’s it. You just leave it to do whatever it does, no management of the trade at all.
Have to say this now goes into the highly recommended pile. You get a free trial as well so definitely worth a go

Another great week for the Money Text service – a gain of 5% for the week alone. Carrying on from where it left off in August. As i’ve said before a really low maintenance signal service which i’ll be using with real money next month if it continues to maintain its current form.

Think this service is an example of why you shouldnt jump to conclusions too quickly. The service made some bold claims on the site with some great looking results which makes you sceptical straightaway & when the first few weeks were poor i suppose i was patting myself on the back for being right.
Since then though they’ve gained around 40 pips in July and have just finished August with 119 pips which Arik says it getting ‘back to business as usual’. Just to confirm this is about as low maintenance & simple as it gets – you get a text with the stop loss & take profit details and a time the trades valid til, you place it & then leave it. No management – it either wins or loses & Moneytexts cases wins more than it loses.

Just wanted to pass on details of some changes Money Text are making to their service from the 5th July, next Tuesday. The email is below but basically they’re including forex signals and also not trading the FTSE on a Monday as the results have been poor historically for that day.

From 5th of July there will be some improvements to the service. Please take a look at the attached updated manual.
The main changes are:
Additional Forex alerts (GB/USD, EU/GB, EU/USD, USD/JPY). 3-4 times a week, between 8am – 3pm (UK time). We recommend that the combine risk for the two trades will be no more than 5%.
After processing past data of the FTSE100 alerts, we realized that Mondays are the least profitable days at best of times and lately are mainly loosing days, therefore we decided not to trade on Mondays.
There will be more targeted alerts, meaning one order at the time (rather then two, buy and sell) and the ‘good till … ‘ will be adjusted.
